Susanna (who was a student of Pietro’s in Rome) and her Irish boyfriend Ian stayed at the ICBIE for a month, during their extended travels in South America. They really dug in and helped us, and when they left last week, they left us this sweet message.

After nearly 8 months travelling, a month living with the ICBIE community was just the break we needed. From the very start we were included in their activities. This gave us the opportunity to experience a side of Brazil that most tourists don’t get to see. Also, we got to appreciate the fantastic work that people here are doing everyday to improve the lives of others. We are very happy and proud to have had a chance to play a part in this. Obrigado!
