Every spring, Pietro comes back from Brazil and we organize the biggest Roman ICBIE event of the year. It all started at the now defunct but never forgotten Angelo Mai social center in June, 2006, continuing at the Linux Club in 2007, the Villetta in 2008 and the Casetta rossa in 2009.
This time we’ll return to the Villetta (via Passino, 26 – Garbatella). On Friday, May 7th, the program, with the theme Brazilian Urban Style, promises to be the best ever:
- 5 PM – Graffiti performances – our own Julio Costa and his fellow Salvador grafita artist, Klebert will challenge some important Roman artists, but always in the spirit of cooperation and sharing.
- 6 PM – Thais Muniz will hold an extemporaneous fashion workshop, decorating used clothing.
- 7 PM – Drawing workshop, using recycled objects, led by Klebert Gonçalves Dos Santos.
- 8 PM – Churrasco, prepared by our chef Serginho.
- 10 PM – Live music with Brazilian and Italian artists: Akuna Matata and Roberto Mazzoli Trio, followed with a DJset by our faithful djamião.
