Last night the gang assembled in the Pelourinho for an art show at the Nova10Ordem studio on Rua das Larajeiras. Julio’s crew showed a capricious collection of Toy Art: Sista K and Finho presented their fashion designs; Thais’s creations were there, too, while out on the street the famous artist from São Paulo Does Tas spent the evening doing a large live painting. It was great to see all the old friends together, and for once, it wasn’t even raining! All the artists of Salvador Grafita who have been on Pietro’s European trips were there: Julio & Bigode, Pinel and Lee, Sista K and Monica, and there was even a fortuitous meeting with Phillip Wagner and the film crew that will visit ICBIE later today. As always, the event was a great show of the happy community of friends and collaborators.
