The absence of constant support, even for the realization of occasional events,
characterizes the association’s performance and makes the satisfactory execution of activities unfeasible, damaging the constancy of actions and consequently generating a series of problems that hinder the development of the cultural-artistic scene of the Lower City.

Currently, in order to carry out its various activities, the ICBIE can rely on the volunteer work of a team of about 5 people. On the occasion of important events, this number can be increased by another 4 or 5 people, who may or may not be compensated economically, depending on the availability of financial resources.

The ICBIE receives no financial support from any official institution, be it Italian, European or Brazilian, and only sporadically, with projects that are approved through participation in public competitions, does the ICBIE receive funding for the purchase of equipment and for expenses, in accordance with the regulations of the public edicts.
