NEW ENGLISH CLASS WITH NEW TEACHERS
A new cycle of English classes began in September, with the arrival of our new volunteer Amadeo Duarte, a friendly and outgoing young Swiss/Uruguayan.
Along with the normal lessons with Amadeo on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, our students can participate in lively conversation sessions on Friday, when the two dynamic teachers Daryth Davey and Chandra Poole come to Ribeira straight from the Pan American School of Bahia, located in Patamares, on the other side of Salvador. Together with Amadeo they always come up with surprising new activities that use games and role playing to fuse entertainment with English learning.
Daryth and Chandra are both collegues of our great comrade, friend and supporter Roy Zimmerman who has come to Salvador this year to teach at the Pan American School and to enliven our weekends in Ribeira with his unflagging good humor!
