LITERARY CAFÉ

On Friday, November 13th, at the ICBIE in Salvador, a “Café Literário” event took place, as part of the 7th edition of the “Exposition of Art and Culture of Itapagipe,” which intends to give the inhabitants of the Itapagipe peninsula an opportunity to discuss the importance of the arts in attaining civil rights for the local community.  Taking part in the evening were the writers Ana Rosa dos Santos,  Cecy Ramos, Joselito Crispim, Aloisio Simōes and Rita Amália Carneiro.

The encounter concluded with the voice and the guitar of Carlos Baby and several Italian songs interpreted by Davide Stadirani, in an interesting fusion of rhythms and different styles.

The gathering had a good response from the public, underlining how the possibility of promoting culture, especially in this age of advanced technologies and virtual interconnections, can be an even more effective medium in socializing and building a real and authentic exchange of information between individuals.
