The ICBIE EBM VII was a success!

The ICBIE EBM VII was a success!

The end of the year at the Institute of Culture Brazil Italy Europe (ICBIE) was marked by a lot of partying, joy and, certainly, a lot of work. After a year full of dialogues, conferences and artistic events, ICBIE has closed its activities.

The celebrations began on December 15 (Saturday) with the traditional Exposition, Bazar and Music (EBM) in its seventh edition.

The opening of the event was with the photographic exhibition Incoação da Luz, the result of the pupils’ production from the Introduction to Photography course held in ICBIE from 17 September to 21 November this year. Besides the printed photos, images were also projected that conveyed an atmosphere of curiosity, grace and admiration.

This year the bazaar was administered by the collaborators Edlene Melo and Talita Melo, with the support of Taciano Lázaro, who received the public with sympathy and charisma.

The musical part of the event began with Juliana Coelho (vocals and guitar) and Luiz Carlos (percussion) who caught the public’s attention and received a lot of applause with a repertoire full of songs that are part of the history of MPB, as : Coração do mar – Elza Soares, Or ronco da Cuíca – João Bosco, À palo seco – Belchior.

Then the evening was rewarded with the performance Quem segue quem of the performer dancer Talita Sueli bringing a perception of the everyday world and the social norms that surround us.

More music! Now  Geane Santos (voice and guitar) and Priscila Tambuque (percussion) took the stage and made the audience vibrate with its repertório, Olhos coloridos – Sandra de Sá, Força Estranha – Caetano Veloso and Vapor Barato – Jards Silva / Waly Salomao and more.

The next act warmed many hearts, with Victor Vittoria and le Balas de Maçã composed of Dindi Leoni, Juliana Coelho and Dideri. The group brought a message of freedom, an appeal to be what one wants to be at any moment, without fear of social repression. Songs like Não Recomendado – Caio Prado, Muderno – Diego Moraes were special parts of the repertoire.

Luque Henry dancer performer presented his work called EnViado, with a choreography of the song blasFêmea | Mulher – Linn da Quebrada, a song that brings pieces like “Ela não quer pau Ela quer paz” to perfectly portray the message of his work.
The group of rappers Evoluções Mc’s (Marcos Vinicius, Keno Júnior, Mc Xandão and Eskine) kept the crowd dancing with his own auteur songs full of truth about life in the favela and its alleys.

The last official speech of the night was by Densa Bruma with the title Esquizofrenia Contemporânea that refers to a society lost in its worldly aspects without knowing its own cravings and knowledge, and it was possible to feel the tension in the air.

The closing of the evening was led by Victor Vittoria, our presenter of Mostre seu talento, making the audience laugh and dance to the sound of Ragatanga – Rougue, Uma bomba (the bomb) – Braga Boys and many other songs full of choreography.

We can not forget the delicious snacks of Dona Cleo that this year was accompanied by Dona Antonia with delicious skewers of chicken and sausage and by our Rita de Cassia Nunes with her famous salty sardine cake and the much desired carrot cake covered with chocolate.

The VII EBM was a success and we already hear saudades. May the EBM VIII come quickly!
