December, for us at the ICBIE, has become a synonym for a meeting with the Italian community of Salvador. In fact, in this 2016 that is about to end, we will have the traditional get-together, along with the Leonardo Prize awards. Sunday the 11th, starting at 2 PM we will be expecting many “Italo-spoteropolitans,” for a wildly variegated program.
It will start (respectively from 2 PM and from 3 PM until 5) with two laboratories: one for the personalization of used clothing and one dedicated to the Indian art of the Mandala, under the curation of Cogi Criative. The meeting with the Italian residents of Salvador will be accompanied by the reading of poetic texts (at 5 PM), followed by a auction of wines (at 6 PM) and the consignment of the 2016 edition of the Leonardo Prizes (at 7 PM). Then it will be time for Anna Clementi, a “vocal actress,” as she likes to define herself, (at 7:30) and then, at 8 PM, for Gessica Lima, Marlene de Souza and Eduardo Brandão, all well known to all the Institute’s friends, because all three are involved, in varying roles, in the ICBIE. A cocktail party (at 7:30) will close the evening.
