Sunday, July 24th, was a particularly lively Sunday at our place. The ICBIE hosted a “Health, Citizenship and Art” fair, organized by the Institute of Citizenship, Labor and Social Responsibility (ICTS). Besides several free medical services, the ICTS offered massages, makeup sessions, expositions of local handicrafts, a book fair and a host of artistic performances: street dance, contemporary dance, music, singing and a lot of other things.
The fair ended at 2 PM, but continuing the festive mood, we at the ICBIE took advantage of the situation to celebrate the birthday of Josemar, the eclectic artist, graffiti writer and hip hop singer. And with a few members of the “Estilo Livre” (“Free-style”) group, Josemar enlivened the ICBIE’s afternoon: everyone was conquered by the group’s music, dancing to the irresistible rhythms of hip hop and reggae.
