On Saturday, June 29th, St. Peter’s Day, there was a very special Italian lesson at the ICBIE. It was a gastronomic lesson: the students of the two classes of the Italian course gathered in the kitchen around our cook Pietro and the assistant Italian cook and teacher Marlene. The students learned two Italian recipes live and all the words commonly used in cooking. Of course, the lesson ended at the table tasting the delicious pasta with broccoli and pasta with shrimp sauce and toasting our own St. Peter!
