The ICBIE is launching a project called “Espaço Arvores em Rede”(“Tree Space Network”), run by our partner Marcella Bomba, an Italian in Bahia for 10 years, a professional educator, dancer, teacher of Pilates, passionate about Afro-Brazilian dances who moved to Diogo where she offers sessions dealing with the nature of body consciousness and environmental consciousness.
The space Arvores em Rede is located in Diogo, a small village of about 1000 inhabitants immersed in the Atlantic mata, the Brazilian tropical forest, on the Atlantic coast, located about 80 km north of Salvador da Bahia, offering white sand dunes and long beaches surrounded by coconut palms.
Volunteering consists mainly in collaborating with the bio-construction in raw earth, the maintenance of the spaces, garden, vegetable garden, movement room (Aroeira Room) and, in general, sharing knowledge.
