Italian music in the Alagados cultural space
On Sunday, December 9, the ICBIE, in collaboration with the Cultural Space Alagados, located in the Uruguai neighborhood in the Lower City of Salvador, organized the concert: “Meeting with European Musicians”.
The musical performance was by the artists Anna Clementi (vocals) and Jan Rzewski (saxophone). Both Europeans of great international fame, presented a repertoire of music by Kurt Weill, Steve Lacy, Jan Rzewski and Jazz standards.
The concert was free and the public, made up partly of assiduous members of the ICBIE community, and another part of mainly young children from the Cultural Space, which nearly filled their beautiful theater.
Anna and Jan managed to capture the attention of those present, involving them in a pleasant musical atmosphere, so that in the end everyone asked in unison for the “encore”. The two artists are ready for another musical performance that will soon be presented at the ICBIE headquarters.
