Now, the Institute of Culture Brazil, Italy, Europe (ICBIE) has proposed another one, this time centered upon the theme, ‘Cinema and Classics of Bahia.’ The events offered many emotions, with musical exhibitions, theatrical performances, dances, and exhibitions at the Me.Pe. – Memories of the Peninsula museum (located in the institute that portrays, by means of photographic and journalistic records, the life of the itapagipano of decades ago), together with the projections of films, all with free admission.

The first event began on April 6th “History, Memory and Photography Day” with exhibitions and a wonderful history lesson with Professor Milton Moura (UFBA), and the screening of the film “Bahia de Todos os Santos” (1960), directed by Trigueirinho Neto.
