LEITURARTE AWARDS PRIZES FOR THE WORKS OF EMERGING ARTISTS
The LeiturArte competition has arrived to the phase of evaluation of the works, but the date for the presentation of awards has been set. This Saturday, April 18th, everyone is invited to know the earth’s new writers. The ICBIE received 58 works for the LeiturArte competition, an ICBIE project that received a grant from the Gregorio de Mattos Foundation, as part of the Arte em Toda Parte Ano II initiative. The solemn prize-giving ceremony will take place at 5 PM on Saturday, April 18th, at the ICBIE center.
There will be 12 prize winners, who will receive a kit containing language courses, books, DVDs, CDs and even the project t-shirt. The choice of the best works will be made by an evaluation commission, composed of professionals involved in literature, whether as academics, communication experts, writers and journalists, as well as the president of the Institute and representatives of publishing houses.
The prize-giving ceremony will include musical interludes and open rehearsals of the ICBIE theater group. We welome the entire community of the Itapagipe peninsula to come and discover the “fruits of their own land” and support them.
