Little Theater Co. Preview Performance at the Martim Gonçalves Theater
Last Saturday, 29/11, the theater lab of the ICBIE – Institute of Culture Brazil Italy Europe – put on an open rehearsal in Hall 5 of the Theater School of the UFBA (Federal University of Bahia), with the work “Quem espera nunca alcança,” (which is tough to translate, maybe “”He who expects never reaches”)?
The theater piece takes inspiration from both the popular realm and the political theater of Brecht. In a contemporary context, the current coordinator of the Little Theater and Music Company of the ICBIE, Alex Nascimento, developed the text together with the group’s component members, which forces us to reflect upon whether man really helps others.
The first official presentation of the show will be at the Martim Gonçalves Theater, next Saturday 6/12, at 10 AM, with free admittance. Come and see it!!!!
