THE ICBIE HOSTS THE “EXHIBITION OF ITAPAGIPE’S ART AND CULTURE”
Last Monday, Septeember 15th, the ICBIE was the site of the opening exhibition of the sixth edition of the “Exhibition of Art and Culture from the Itapagipe Peninsula.”
Along with well known artists such as Júlio Costa, Krika Limoeiro and Zaca Oliveira, there were works by painters who developed and practiced their art at the ICBIE, including Géssica Lima and Ivanildo Viana, as well as many others who live on the Itapagipe peninsula, including Jurema Correia, Kel Konduro, Lalá, Leonício Santana, Mário Britto, Onaldo Dantas, Regina Kainni and Romenil.
The “Exhibition of Art and Culture from the Itapagipe Peninsula,” which is a collaborative effort by various associations and community groups in the Cidade Baixa (the CAAMPI network), will remain open during the next two weeks, until the 29th, always at the ICBIE in Ribeira.
