S\u00e1bado inesquec\u00edvel:<\/strong><\/p>\n

O dia 24 de janeiro de 2009 entrou para a hist\u00f3ria dos mutir\u00f5es de grafite em Salvador.<\/p>\n

Um espet\u00e1culo de cores, alegria, som, intera\u00e7\u00e3o e a badalada feijoada. Esses foram os ingredientes para o sucesso do Mutir\u00e3o de Grafite na Rua Cl\u00f3vis Almeida Maia, bairro da Ribeira, organizado pelo grupo Nova10ordem, comemorando os anivers\u00e1rios de J\u00falio Costa, Muleca(RJ), a marca da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o A Arte na Rua do fot\u00f3grafo JFParanagu\u00e1 e o lan\u00e7amento do Projeto Oficina de Rua pelo ICBIE.<\/p>\n

Vinte e seis grafiteiros deram um show de criatividade, com uma arte generosa, ofertada a todos da comunidade, modificando o cen\u00e1rio local. Fachadas e muros de im\u00f3veis espalhados pela rua principal e algumas travessas foram transformados em telas, exibindo os belos trabalhos que surgiram de forma espont\u00e2nea ou \u00e0s vezes por sugest\u00f5es dos propriet\u00e1rios, atrav\u00e9s do di\u00e1logo de cores e formas dos personagens, styles, peixes, flores, figuras humanas, mensagens, entre outros.<\/p>\n

A integra\u00e7\u00e3o entre grafiteiros e moradores foi um dos pontos de destaque do mutir\u00e3o. O grafite n\u00e3o foi o objetivo principal, mas o fortalecimento de identifica\u00e7\u00e3o com esse tipo de atividade social, a amizade, a comunh\u00e3o com os moradores, al\u00e9m da uni\u00e3o de v\u00e1rias gera\u00e7\u00f5es de arte, estilos, ra\u00e7as, credos, numa conviv\u00eancia harmoniosa. Tudo que se fez ali naquele dia ficou marcado na vida das pessoas, principalmente daqueles que tiveram contato mais pr\u00f3ximo.<\/p>\n

Jovens e crian\u00e7as, na sua maioria, foram presen\u00e7as marcantes, com suas irrever\u00eancias, sorrisos e curiosidades. Em cada espa\u00e7o de interven\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica, formaram-se grupos ao redor dos artistas, acompanhando as evolu\u00e7\u00f5es dos desenhos, sendo inclusive um incentivo para eles que adoram a arte do grafite.<\/p>\n

Som e rango<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quem apareceu no mutir\u00e3o, pode tamb\u00e9m curtir o som do bastante conhecido na cena, o dubl\u00ea de grafiteiro e DJ Olivier Sibel (Sins), que agitou a galera com muita black music (hip hop e raggae) da sua preciosa cole\u00e7\u00e3o. A turma ficou antenada nas apari\u00e7\u00f5es dos MC’s MVHemp e Muleca, ambos carioca, cantando m\u00fasicas com letras de cunho social e politizada. Al\u00e9m de comandar o som, o DJ deu uma de backing vocal, durante a participa\u00e7\u00e3o da dupla Muleca e o queniano Richard, chamado carinhosamente “o angolano”.<\/p>\n

Para recarregar as baterias e manter o ritmo da galera, rolou uma deliciosa feijoada, preparada por Shirley Paranagu\u00e1, servida com salada, arroz, farinha e molho, no restaurante do Estaleiro Fant\u00e1stico, que ainda est\u00e1 dando ibope at\u00e9 hoje.<\/p>\n

An Unforgettable Saturday<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

The date January 24th, 2009 has entered into the annals of the graffiti gatherings in Salvador.<\/p>\n

It was a spectacle of emotions, joy and music, with people mixing together, and there was also a memorable feijoada.\u00a0 These were the main ingredients that guaranteed the success of the Graffiti Mutir\u00e3o<\/em> in Rua Cl\u00f3vis Almeida Maia, in the Ribeira district, organized by the Nova10ordem group, to mark the birthdays of J\u00falio Costa and Muleca (RJ), as well as the exposition trademark A Arte na Rua<\/em> of the photographer JF Paranagu\u00e1 and the launch of the Projeto Oficina de Rua<\/em> by the ICBIE.<\/p>\n

Twenty-six grafiteiros<\/em> gave a real show of creativity, with a generous gift of art offered to the whole community, transforming the local scenery.\u00a0 Facades and walls of buildings, scattered along the main road and several side streets, were turned into canvases to show off the beautiful works that came to life spontaneously, or sometimes following the suggestions of the residents, through a heartfelt dialogue, taking the forms of different personalities, styles, fish, flowers, human figures, messages, and so forth.<\/p>\n

The sharing between the graffiti artists and the local people was one of the mutir\u00e3o’s most distinctive points.\u00a0 The graffiti wasn’t the main objective, but was instead the strengthening of the identification with this kind of social activity, the friendship, the communion with the residents, through the union of different generations, arts, styles, races and beliefs, all in a harmonious familiarity. Everything that happened that day marked the lives of the people, fired by those who wanted to reach out to their neighbors.<\/p>\n

Young people and small children were everywhere, and they were the strongest presences, with their irreverence, their smiles and their curiosity.\u00a0 At every place where the artists worked, groups formed around them, accompanying the evolution of the pictures, egging them on by showing how much they adored graffiti art.<\/p>\n

Tunes and food<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everyone who was at the mutir\u00e3o also enjoyed the sounds of the multi-talented grafiteiro and DJ Olivier Sibel (Sins), who is well enough known in the local scene, as he spun out sets of black music (hip hop and reggae) from his precious collection.\u00a0 He was joined by the MCs MVHemp and Muleca, both from Rio, belting out raps with lyrics full of social and political messages.\u00a0 Besides working the turntables, the DJ even provided backup vocals to the duo of Muleca and the Kenyan Richard, affectionately called “o angolano”.<\/p>\n

To recharge our batteries and maintain the crazy pace, a delicious feijoada, prepared by Shirley Paranagu\u00e1, was served in the restaurant the Estaleiro Fant\u00e1stico, with salad, rice, farinha and bread, and everyone is still raving about it.<\/p>\n
