Anche per quest’anno stiamo organizzando l’incontro degli Italiani per la Cultura nella nostra sede di Ribeira – Salvador, in collaborazione con l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Rio de Janeiro.
Il giorno scelto è venerdì 17 dicembre prossimo a partire dalle ore 18,00.
Con l’occasione avremo l’onore di presentare il libro di Mario Bortolotto Corrispondenze, recentemente pubblicato da ADELPHI. Sarà presente l’autore che introdurrà brevemente questo suo ultimo lavoro.
Alcune copie verranno distribuite in omaggio.
Seguirà piccolo spettacolo teatrale, concerto di musiche e cocktail.
The ICBIE is so lucky to have Mario Bortolotto as its staunchest supporter. This eminent musicologist was Pietro’s professor at Rome University, and their friendship has grown over the decades, especially since the founding of the ICBIE, as Mario has chosen Salvador for his winter residence. He has just returned, so Pietro took the opportunity of celebrating him with a meeting of the elite club called “The Italians for Culture,” which comprises the cream of the ex-patriot intellectuals in Salvador.
They will gather at 6 PM on Friday (which happens to be the 17th of the month, which for Italians is unlucky just like our Friday the 13th). Mario will present his latest book Correspondenze, published by Adelphi. There will be signed copies of the book available for the lucky elitists, and, best of all, there will be the treat of a command performance of the ICBIE Little Theater Company, to top things off.
