Coinciding with Steve’s arrival from Germany, the members of ICBIE Europa organized a meeting, in order to hear his fresh stories from Salvador and also to profit from his expertise, as we plan our next moves. We agreed to meet on Saturday at our favorite place, the Casetta Rossa in Garbatella, for a long lunch. Fortunately, the weather was sunny and mild, so we were able to take a big table outside, and bask in the beautiful Roman autumn, eating our amatriciane and discussing the state of the ICBIE, on both sides of the Atlantic.
Monica and her baby Diego, Roberto, Pina and Gianfranco, Roy and Steve kept the conversation going well into the afternoon: we certainly enjoy getting together!
