While the madness of carnival reaches its peak, the ICBIE continues to organize for the 2008 school year, and the schedule for the computer program is ready. These precious course offerings will permit dozens of kids to attain valuable skills that will greatly improve their chances for finding meaningful jobs. Here is a summary of the offerings.
Foundation course – 3 months, 3 hours per week, for a total of 36 hours, 04/03/2008 – 29/05/2008. Two sections: Tuesday and Thursday 15:00 – 16:30 (Afternoon course) or Tuesday and Thursday 19:30 – 21:00 (Evening course)
Keyboard skills – 2 months, 3 hours per week, for a total of 24 hours, 03/03/2008 – 28/04/2008. Monday and Wednesday 19:30 – 21:00
Computer Maintenance and Configuration – 3 months, 3 hours per week, for a total of 36 hours, 01/03/2008 – 24/05/2008. Saturday 15:00 – 18:00
Computer courses are offered in collaboration with ARCI Solidarity of Reggio Emilia, Italy, whose contributions help with the salaries of the instructors.
