Thanks to the efforts of our friend Phillip Wagner at Rhythm of Hope in the United States, tomorrow night there will be an important ICBIE Benefit Concert in the Swiss city of Schaffhausen! Actually, Phillip pressed upon his friend Fränzi Ruef to organize the event, and she solicited the help of Mike Saxer, who happens to be the drummer of the hardcore punk band Fall Apart. Thanks to their efforts, the concert will feature no less than four thrashing bands from Germany, Austria and Switzerland: Ays, Within Walls, Fall Apart, and Anchors Aweigh.
We thank everyone for the splendid work, organizing such an impressive event. Fränzi has promised to send a report and photos in the coming days. The proceeds will be divided between two ICBIE projects: the theater project (in cooperation with Rhythm of Hope and Engineers Without Borders) and the establishment of a Rhythm of Hope office at the ICBIE in Ribeira.
