{"id":8679,"date":"2017-04-01T09:31:46","date_gmt":"2017-04-01T07:31:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.icbie.net\/?p=8679"},"modified":"2017-04-01T09:31:46","modified_gmt":"2017-04-01T07:31:46","slug":"local-students-come-for-a-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icbie.net.br\/en\/local-students-come-for-a-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Local Students Come for a Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To mark the 468th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Salvador on the 29th of March, 1549, we celebrated the historic event with a meeting held in ICBIE\u2019s ME.PE (Peninsula Memories museum) together with a class of students from the Maria Jos\u00e9 school, located in the Areal\/Mangueira district of the Itapagipe peninsula. \u00a0Accompanied by two teachers, the students visited our permanent museum of photos, videos, books, magazines, newspapers and objects regarding the history of the beautiful and ancient peninsula of Salvador, underlining its importance for the arts, economy, labor, culture and sports. They were greeted by Raquel, Marlene and Pietro.
