On Friday, May 11th, the long awaited exposition of the drawings by the children of the ABEAC opened at the St. John’s International School in Belgium, as the final stage of our Art-exchange Project.<\/p>\n

After the drawing workshops at the ABEAC and after the success of the exposition of works by the Belgian children at the ICBIE in Salvador, Pietro and Marcella, as ambassadors of the ICBIE, took the drawings of the Brazilian children to Belgium for the showing.<\/p>\n

The opening took place amidst general excitement, with the art teacher Marianne Behaeghele, the children from three classes of the elementary school who participated in the project, the principal of the elementary school Johanna Bambridge, several other teachers and a few parents. \u00a0Pietro, Marcella and Ivanildo were introduced and received with great curiosity by the children, who showed their interest by asking pertinent and interesting questions regarding the ICBIE’s work in Salvador.<\/p>\n

The day passed pleasurably and the event ended with the hopes that this project may be only the first among many other future ones and it is clear that the road is open for an ongoing collaboration between the St. John’s International School of Waterloo, Belgium and the ICBIE in Salvador. \u00a0As representatives of the ICBIE, it is a pleasure to thank once again Silvia (the young girl who devised the project), the children and the teachers at St. John’s for the enthusiastic participation, and the Billingsley family, who not only was essential in organizing and realizing the exposition, but who also hosted Pietro, Marcella and Ivanildo for the entire weekend, during which time, naturally, we were able to sample the local beer and other gastronomic delights!<\/p>\n

Sexta-feira 11 de maio foi realizada, conforme o programa, a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o de desenhos das crian\u00e7as do ABEAC em St John\u2019s International School, na B\u00e9lgica, dentro do projeto Art-exchange. Depois das oficinas de desenho realizadas no ABEAC e o sucesso da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o das obras das crian\u00e7as b\u00e9lgicas no ICBIE em Salvador, os mesmos Pietro e Marcella, como representantes oficiais do ICBIE, trouxeram os desenhos das crian\u00e7as brasileiras na B\u00e9lgica para realizar a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

A inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o aconteceu com grande entusiasmo, houve a presen\u00e7a da professora de arte Marianne Behaeghele, dos meninos de tr\u00eas classes do ensino fundamental que participaram do projeto, da diretora da escola prim\u00e1ria Johanna Bambridge, de alguns outros professores e de poucos pais.<\/p>\n

Pietro, Marcella e Ivanildo foram apresentados e recebidos com grande curiosidade, em particular por as crian\u00e7as que demonstraram a participa\u00e7\u00e3o com quest\u00f5es relevantes e interessadas sobre o trabalho do ICBIE em Salvador.<\/p>\n

O tempo passou agradavelmente e o evento terminou com a esperan\u00e7a que este projeto ser\u00e1 apenas o primeiro de muitos futuros e que, desta forma, se abriu o caminho para uma colabora\u00e7\u00e3o dur\u00e1vel entre St John\u2019s International School em Waterloo (B\u00e9lgica) e ICBIE. Como representantes do ICBIE \u00e9 um prazer agradecer mais uma vez a Silvia (a pequena criadora do projeto), as crian\u00e7as e os professores da St John\u2019s International School para a participa\u00e7\u00e3o entusiasta e a fam\u00edlia Billingsley, que n\u00e3o s\u00f3 foi fundamental para organizar e realizar a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m porque acolheu Pietro, Marcella e Ivanildo no inteiro fim de semana, durante o qual, \u00e9 claro, eles se dedicaram tamb\u00e9m a descobrir comidas e cervejas daqueles lugares!<\/p>\n

Venerd\u00ec 11 maggio si \u00e8 svolta, come da programma, l’ esposizione dei disegni dei bambini dell’ ABEAC presso la St John’s International School in Belgio, nell’ ambito del progetto Art-exchange.<\/p>\n

Dopo i laboratori di disegno svolti all’ ABEAC e dopo il successo dell’ esposizione dei bambini belga presso l’ ICBIE a Salvador, gli stessi Pietro e Marcella, in qualit\u00e0 di rappresentanti ufficiali dell’ ICBIE, hanno portato i disegni dei bambini brasiliani in Belgio per far si che si realizzasse la mostra.<\/p>\n

L’ inaugurazione \u00e8 avvenuta con grande entusiasmo alla presenza dell’ insegnante di arte Marianne Behaeghele, dei bambini di tre classi della scuola elementare che hanno partecipato al progetto, della direttrice della scuola elementare Johanna Bambridge, di alcuni altri insegnanti e di pochi genitori. Pietro, Marcella e Ivanildo sono stati presentati e accolti con grande curiosit\u00e0 soprattutto dai bambini che hanno dimostrato la loro partecipazione rivolgendo domande pertinenti e interessate riguardanti il lavoro dell’ ICBIE a Salvador.<\/p>\n

Il tempo \u00e8 trascorso piacevolmente e l’ evento si \u00e8 chiuso con l’ augurio che questo progetto possa essere solo il primo di molti altri futuri e che in questo modo si sia aperta la strada per una collaborazione continuativa tra la St John International School di Waterloo (Belgio) e l’ ICBIE a Salvador. Come rappresentanti ICBIE \u00e8 un piacere ringraziare ancora una volta Silvia (la piccola ideatrice del progetto), i bambini e gli insegnanti della St John’s per l’ entusiasmo della partecipazione e la famiglia Billingsley che, non solo \u00e8 stata fondamentale per l’ organizzazione e la realizzazione dell’ esposizione, ma ha anche ospitato Pietro, Marcella e Ivanildo per l’ intero week end durante il quale, naturalmente, ci siamo anche dedicati all’ esplorazione birra-gastronomica dei luoghi!<\/p>\n
