On Tuesday, April 3rd the ICBIE hosted the last of three encounters regarding the theme “water.” \u00a0 March commemorated World Water Day and the ICBIE, attentive to such an important theme, not only from the environmental point of view but also social ones, decided to organize these three encounters to underline the importance of this natural resource.<\/p>\n

The three seminars were conducted by EMBASA employees (the company that supplies drinking water and runs the sewer system in Salvador): \u00a0Jos\u00e9 Francisco Paranagu\u00e1, Coordinator of the EMBASA Archaeological Museum, Jos\u00e9 Francisco Nunes Oliveira, Director of water production systems, and Virgilio Bandeira, Director of the sewage treatment department.<\/p>\n

The three encounters were very productive and rich in information, each seminar confronting a particular aspect of Salvador’s water system: its history, the supply of drinking water and the system for gathering and treating domestic sewage.<\/p>\n

During the first and last of the three seminars, there was also space for some brief readings on the theme of water, interpreted by several components of the Little Theater Company of the ICBIE.<\/p>\n

Big thanks go to the three competent, helpful and friendly functionaries of the EMBASA, who were able to transmit their knowledge with clarity and semplicity but also professionality, stimulating the audience’s curiosity and making them aware of the need for a more rational and sustainable use of our water.<\/p>\n

Ter\u00e7a-feira 3 de abril houve no ICBIE o \u00faltimo des tr\u00eas encontros realizados em rela\u00e7ao ao assunto: \u201c\u00e1gua\u201d. Mar\u00e7o \u00e9 o m\u00eas do Dia Mundial da \u00c1gua e o ICBIE, cuidando de um assunto t\u00e3o importante – n\u00e3o s\u00f3 do ponto de vista do meio ambiente, mas tamb\u00e9m social – decidiu organizar tr\u00eas reuni\u00f5es para destacar a import\u00e2ncia deste recurso natural.<\/p>\n

As tr\u00eas oficinas foram realizadas pelo pessoal da EMBASA (a empresa que fornece \u00e1gua pot\u00e1vel e cuida das \u00e1guas residuais em Salvador): Jos\u00e9 Francisco Paranagu\u00e1, Coordenador do Museu Arqueol\u00f3gico da EMBASA, Jos\u00e9 Francisco Nunes Oliveira, da Diretoria do Sistema de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00c1gua e o engenheiro Virg\u00edlio Bandeira, Diretor do Departamento pelo Tratamento das \u00c1guas Residuais.<\/p>\n

Foram tr\u00eas encontros muito produtivos e repletos de informa\u00e7\u00f5es, cada orator abordando um aspecto particular do sistema da \u00e1gua em Salvador: a hist\u00f3ria, o abastecimento de \u00e1gua pot\u00e1vel e o sistema de coleta e descarte das \u00e1guas residuais dom\u00e9sticas.<\/p>\n

Durante o primeiro e o \u00faltimo dos tr\u00eas semin\u00e1rios houve tamb\u00e9m espa\u00e7o para breves leituras no assunto da \u00e1gua, interpretadas por alguns componentes da Piccola Cia de Teatro do ICBIE.<\/p>\n

Um grande agradecimento vai para os tr\u00eas competentes, muito dispon\u00edveis e muito comunicativos dirigentes da EMBASA, que foram capazes de transmitir informa\u00e7\u00f5es com clareza e simplicidade e, ao mesmo tempo, com profissionalismo, despertando a curiosidade no p\u00fablico e elevando a sua consci\u00eancia para uma utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o mais racional e sustent\u00e1vel do \u201cbem\u201d \u00e1gua.<\/p>\n

Martedi 3 aprile si \u00e9 svolto, all\u00b4ICBIE l\u00b4ultimo dei tre incontri realizzati sul tema \u201cacqua\u201d. A marzo si commemora il Giorno Mondiale dell\u00b4Acqua e l\u00b4ICBIE, attento ad un tema tanto importante non solo dal punto di vista ambientale ma anche sociale, ha deciso di organizzare questi tre incontri per sottolineare l\u00b4importanza di tale risorsa naturale.<\/p>\n

I tre seminari sono stati realizzati dal personale dell\u00b4EMBASA (l\u00b4impresa che fornisce acqua potabile e si occupa dei reflui urbani a Salvador) nelle persone di Jos\u00e9 Francisco Paranagu\u00e1, Coordinatore del Museo Archeologico dell\u00b4EMBASA, Jos\u00e9 Francisco Nunes Oliveira, direttoria del sistema di produzione dell\u00b4acqua, l\u00b4ingegnere Virgilio Bandeira, direttore del dipartimento di trattamento delle acque reflue.<\/p>\n

Sono stati tre incontri molto produttivi e ricchi di informazioni ciascuno affrontando un particolare aspetto del sistema acqua di Salvador: la storia, l’approviggionamento di acqua potabile e il sistema di raccolta e smaltimento dei reflui domestici.<\/p>\n

Durante il primo e l\u00b4ultimo dei tre seminari c’\u00e9 stato spazio anche per delle brevi letture sul tema acqua interpretate da alcuni componenti della Piccola Cia de Teatro do ICBIE.<\/p>\n

Un grande ringraziamento va ai tre competenti, molto disponibili e molto comunicativi funzionari dell\u00b4EMBASA che hanno saputo trasmettere le informazioni con chiarezza e semplicit\u00e1 e allo stesso tempo professionalit\u00e1, incuriosendo il pubblico e sensibilizzandolo ad un uso pi\u00fa razionale e sostenibile del bene acqua.<\/p>\n
