CINEMA AND GASTRONOMY – CINEFORUM<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Institute of Culture Brazil Italy Europe (ICBIE)<\/strong>, as part of the ICBIE project Ponto de Cultura da Ribeira, presents the event: “Cinema and Gastronomy”.<\/p>\n

This project has the financial support of the State of Bahia through the Secretary of Culture (Aldir Blanc Bahia Program) via the Aldir Blanc Law, directed by the Special Secretary of Culture of the Ministry of Tourism, Federal Government.<\/p>\n

In respect to the coronavirus prevention measures, aiming to avoid the contamination or the spreading of the virus, the event was postponed and now we are presenting the films that have gastronomy as the main theme. We thought about serving both the adult and the children’s audience by offering the viewing of different movies every week.<\/p>\n

The project also includes a workshop on how to “Prepare an Italian Pasta Dish”, during which we will also have a moment of degustation, and the closing lecture: “Gastronomy in International Cinema”. These events are scheduled to take place in the beginning of the second half of 2022.<\/p>\n

For now we will enjoy four Fridays of film screenings, according to the schedule below.<\/p>\n
