O sucesso do mutir\u00e3o de grafite organizado pelo Instituto Cultural Brasil It\u00e1lia Europa \u2013 ICBIE, Arci Solitariet\u00e1 de Reggio Emilia e Bologna e a Secretaria Municipal da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, Cultura, Esporte e Lazer (Secult), no dia 12 do m\u00eas passado, na ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o do MSTS na Ribeira (antiga f\u00e1brica de roupas da Toster), fez parte da segunda fase do Projeto Oficina de Rua, que est\u00e1 em andamento com os ateli\u00eas de desenho para as crian\u00e7as residentes no Uruguai, Massaranduba, Saramandaia e Ribeira.<\/p>\n

Segundo o coordenador do Projeto, J\u00falio Costa, a escolha do local foi uma maneira de valorizar os moradores da comunidade, al\u00e9m de mostrar onde as crian\u00e7as est\u00e3o participando do laborat\u00f3rio de desenho. \u201cEsse \u00e9 o resultado da agenda programada de eventos, que teve seu in\u00edcio no lan\u00e7amento no bairro do Uruguai\u201d explicou. A iniciativa possibilitou ainda uma intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre os grafiteiros e moradores, permitindo, inclusive que os espa\u00e7os livres das \u00e1reas internas dos tr\u00eas pavimentos fossem pintados com personagens, bomb\u2019s, styles etc. Para Creuza Maria Teixeira, moradora h\u00e1 seis anos no antigo im\u00f3vel, a sua filha M\u00e1rcia Gabrielli, 14, foi uma das participantes da oficina de grafite. \u201cEu quero que ela tenha uma experi\u00eancia diferente. O espa\u00e7o ganhou vida. Eu gostei muito e tenho certeza de que os outros moradores tamb\u00e9m aprovaram a id\u00e9ia\u201d, declarou.<\/p>\n

Durante as pinturas dos grafiteiros do Projeto Grafita Salvador e artistas convidados, os integrantes do MSTS e visitantes participaram ativamente de diversas atividades, como por exemplo: no\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas de defesa pessoal e higiene feminina, brincadeiras e anima\u00e7\u00e3o teatral, artesanato com papel e apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de hapkido, aprendizado do italiano, m\u00fasica, esporte, dentre outros. Al\u00e9m disso, a galera vibrou com os shows da banda de percuss\u00e3o Palafita da ONG Arte Consciente de Saramandaia, liderado pelo vocalista Marcelo; de Sonia, cover da cantota cubana C\u00e9lia Cruz; do hare baba com a dan\u00e7arina indiana Sabika e; com o DJ su\u00ed\u00e7o Olivier Sibel, no ag\u00f4 sound system.

Graffiti Happening:
\nThe power of colors, changing everything

The successful graffiti mutir\u00e3o<\/em> organized by the Institute of Culture Brazil Italy Europe – ICBIE, ARCI Solidarity of Reggio Emilia and Bologna, and the Municipal Secretary of Education, Culture, Sport and Recreation (Secult), on the twelfth day of last month in the occupied building of MSTS in Ribeira (an old Toster clothing factory) was part of the second phase of the Oficina de Rua Project, that is currently running drawing workshops for the local children in Uruguai, Massaranduba, Saramandaia and Ribeira.<\/p>\n

According to the project coordinator J\u00falio Costa, the location in a school was a way to empower the residents of the community, as well as showing them where the children are participating in the drawing laboratory.\u00a0 “This is the result of a programmed agenda of events, that began in the Uruguai district,” he explained.\u00a0 The initiative fostered an interaction between the graffiti artists and the local residents, which also made it possible to use the free spaces of three floors in the interior for portraits, bombs, styles, etc.\u00a0 For Creuza Maria Teixeira, who has lived in the old building for six years, her daughter M\u00e1rcia Gabrielli, 14, was one of the participants in the graffiti workshop.\u00a0 “I want her to experience different things.\u00a0 The space gets more life.\u00a0 I liked it a lot and I am sure that the other residents approve of the idea as well,” she declared.<\/p>\n

While the graffiti artists of the Salvador Grafita Project and other artists painted, the MSTS people and the visitors actively participated in various activities, such as: basic techniques of personal defense and hygiene for women, games and theater, handicrafts with paper and a presentation of hapkido, as well as some lessons in Italian, music, and sport.\u00a0 Moreover, the crowd was rocking to shows by the Palafita percussion band from the NGO Arte Cosciente of Saramandaia, led by the vocalist Marcelo;\u00a0 C\u00e9lia Cruz songs sung by Sonia; a hare baba by the delicate Indian dancer Sabika; and from the Swiss DJ Olivier Sibel and his sound system.<\/p>\n
