Last night the ICBIE was enlivened by another one of those bittersweet moments, when the students got together to celebrate the completion of their English courses held by the brilliant team of Peter Ahlers and Elizabeth Akinsamni, two remarkable volunteers who have generously offered our students their enthusiasm and expertise.
At the same time, they were able to meet Catherine Hutt, who will carry on the courses and start another one for newcomers. Catherine, who is an experienced teacher working at an international school in Rome, is returning to us after a visit last Christmas, and she will remain through the month of August.
Of course, we are delighted to have this continuity in our English offerings, which will allow our students to progress in their skills without interruption.
