The biggest ICBIE fundraising campaign ever finished yesterday and, although our goal of €10,000 was not reached, we are very pleased all the same. Friends and supporters from all over the world came through generously, despite the economic crisis, showing that people really do care about the fate of our dear Institute. This tangible sign of affection gives us renewed strength and enthusiasm, helping us to persevere and to overcome many obstacles, as we continue to help the people of Salvador.
A total of €7580 has been collected, and this will permit the opening of several courses that we had been forced to close due to the lack of funds.
We are extremely grateful for the support from all of our wonderful friends and we appreciate their sacrifices on our behalf. Furthermore, many thanks go to everyone who helped us to launch this campaign and to spread our appeal. We learned a lot!
